In the spring of 2004, Cindy Thibault and her husband, Richard, decided to leave their high stress engineering careers in Massachusetts. After they quit their jobs and sold their house, they packed up and took off in their 34 foot RV. Settle in Virginia Beach
They came to settle in Virginia Beach, where the weather is warmer and the pace is slower. Cindy now pursues her dream of running her own company, focusing her interest and love on animals. Richard now pursues his dream of achieving a single digit handicap, focusing his love and interest on golf. Cindy often walks the many streets of Virginia Beach with a leash in hand. Richard often walks the many fairways of golf courses with a club in hand.
Cindy is a member of the National Association Of Professional Pet Sitters, has been in business since 2004 and has completed the Pet First Aid course which includes CPR and rescue breathing offered by the American Red Cross.
Throughout their years together, Cindy and Richard have had numerous animals. Their pets have included 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parakeets and multiple tanks of fish. After arriving in Virginia Beach, they adopted their foster dog, Cole, a black Labrador Retriever.
Our Home on Muddy Creek
In the fall of 2019, Cindy and Richard moved out of their apartment and started living full-time in their RV. The goal was to live simpler and more environmentally friendly. You can read about this lifestyle change in Cindy’s blog, Home on Muddy Creek.
