In the spring of 2004, Cindy Thibault and her husband Richard left their engineering careers in the high stress environment of computer technology in Massachusetts and headed west. They spent 4 months traveling and and exploring the United States in their 34 foot RV with their 3 year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever – Baxter.
They came to settle in Virginia Beach, where the weather is warmer, the gardening season is longer, and the pace is slower. Cindy now pursues her dream of running her own company, focusing her interest and love on animals. Richard now pursues his dream of achieving a single digit handicap, focusing his love and interest on golf. Cindy can often be found walking alone the streets of Virginia Beach with a leash in hand; Richard can often be found at the golf course with a club in hand.
Cindy is a member of the National Association Of Pet Sitters, been in business since 2004 and has completed the Pet First Aid course which includes CPR and rescue breathing offered by the American Red Cross.
Cindy and Richard are also the owners and publishers of PET TAILS MAGAZINE.
Throughout their years together, Cindy and Richard have had numerous pets including 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parakeets and multiple tanks of fish. Since arriving in Virgina Beach, they adopted their foster dog, Cole, a black Labrador Retriever who turns 14 in October of 2016.
